Questions - Required or mandatory questions

Making a certain question a 'required' field allows you to ensure that you collect that information from your registrants. For example, for a banquet you may need to know if your registrants have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. By including a drop-down style question that requires a response, you can ensure all your registrants are indicating "Yes" or "None" to Food Allergies. The guest is unable to proceed without answering this question.

If the registrant tries to bypass a required field, they will be unable to proceed with registration, and a prompt will appear indicating which fields are required.
You may also use a yes/no checkbox as a required field in order to restrict certain people from registering. For example, minors should not be allowed in  18+ and you can enforce that by using a mandatory checkbox "I am over 18 years of age". Another example is to collect consent by the checkbox "I have read and understood the rules".
